Multi Functional Dressing Table

This dressing table is designed to address the challenges of small living spaces and the storage needs of women. The mirror's positioning allows the user to do her makeup without having to lean in towards the mirror, providing a clear and unobstructed view. It also acts as a cabinet, where cosmetics can be stored and accessed with ease while in use.

The walnut veneered mirror offers hidden storage units that open from the sides, providing a convenient space to store jewelry and other items. The body of the dressing table is designed to place handbags, keeping them organized and easily accessible.

The design of The New Dressing Table follows the philosophy of "form follows function," resulting in a refined and functional piece of furniture. It is made of white matt/gloss finish MDF and walnut veneer particle board, with the option of a walnut or oak veneer lacquered body. The X-shaped legs are made of metal profile with a bronze finish, or can be done in solid walnut.

With dimensions of W 100cm x D 30cm x H 170cm, The New Dressing Table is compact and space-efficient, making it ideal for small living spaces.

This design was the result of extensive research among women who live in small spaces. The aim was to understand their daily habits and storage needs for makeup goods, handbags, and jewelry. The New Dressing Table is a problem solver that addresses these needs and provides a stylish and functional solution.

The New Dressing Table was exhibited at the Satellite Salone del Mobile in April 2015, after being developed as a graduation thesis project at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London. It was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in the Furniture Design category in 2016, recognizing its outstanding expertise, innovation, and excellence in design.
